Cloudy Pool Water After Shocking?

The cloudiness in the pool after shocking is normal, should only last a 1/2 hour or so & is due to the reaction of dissolving crystals, salts, binders and inert materials like Calcium and Cyanuric Acid found in Calcium Hypochlorite based Shock Chlorine product. It's no issue and pool operators shouldn't be concerned about it unless it's happening before adding Shock Chlorine. By quality chemicals and check the percent active ingredients before buying.
